Subcontracting advertising space

Réseau Ferré de France relies on two external service providers for the operation of its advertising space:

METROBUS for "in-station" spaces (approximately 12,000),
the JC.DECAUX-AVENIR group for the 10,000 "out-of-station" spaces.

These companies were granted operation rights for an eight-year period starting on 1st April 2008, under one of the largest advertising signage contracts in France.
 
The result of a demanding procedure

The decision to work with these service providers was made in a call to tender launched in July 2007, during which Réseau Ferré de France called in a committee of experts to guarantee strict conditions of equality among candidates.

The two candidates were selected by the Board of Directors in March 2008.
