Réseau Ferré de France is developing and providing access to a dense, reliable, efficient network that is in line with the new mobility requirements of both passengers and freight. Our high speed network is the largest in Europe.

Réseau Ferré de France is the second largest land owner in France, managing 108,000 hectares. We own property situated both on and off railway land. We aim to make good use of this land in order to bring the maximum benefit for the network.
Our maintenance and regeneration policy will ensure
the performance and reliability of the network. We are investing heavily, having allocated nearly €3 billion in 2008 alone.
Freight traffic, which already makes up a significant proportion of the railway usage, has strong potential for growth. We are optimising the usage of our network in order to offer solutions suited to the needs of our clients and to offer ever greater levels of performance and user comfort.
