Each project is managed by one of our 12 Regional Divisions.
Always listening to the needs of local players, our company has set up a decentralised management structure. Focussing on local development, this structure will allow us to encourage partnerships and guarantee that all of our actions are as targeted as possible.
Our Regional Divisions are in charge of implementing the national policies of Réseau Ferré de France, working out regional strategies, and forging long-term partnerships with local players. They also help us define our policy of network openness and development.

Electrification of the Tours-Vierzon line
90% of passenger traffic and 85% of freight traffic uses the 15,164 kilometres of electrified line along our network. Réseau Ferré de France is continuing its electrification policy following on from the work on the Tours-Vierzon line, over 100 kilometres long, which was completed in 2008. The aim is to improve the Nantes-Lyon branch in order to strengthen our transport offering on a national and European scale. We work under the principle of sustainable development, by creating links with sea transport to the west and towards the European corridors in the east.
